# How to Open a Den

1. Go to the Borrow section of the Beraborrow [dApp](https://app.beraborrow.com/).&#x20;

2. In the deposit collateral section, select your collateral type from the drop-down.

3. In the Deposit Collateral field type how much collateral you would like to deposit.

4. In the NECT to be Minted field type the amount of NECT you wish to mint.

5. Use the slider to adjust your Den ratio.

6. Then click the “Approve and Borrow” button and sign transactions from your wallet.

You’ve successfully opened a Den position on Beraborrow! You can now utilise your unlocked liquidity in the form of NECT (Stablecoin) across the Berachain ecosystem while still benefiting from yield and price exposure on your collateral asset.
